I have been battling with chronic fatigue, swelling, night sweats and the feeling that I'm constantly ill for the last few months. I was on Depo Provera to stop advance stages of Endometriosis. After being on this medication for a course of 6 mos., I gained a considerable amount of weight and my health continued to decline. My OB finally took me off the Depo and I'm currently on regular birth control pills. The overall "puffiness" has gone down a little bit but I'm still at my heaviest weight and have to sleep 11hrs a night to feel rested. I can't do much without getting exhausted. Sometimes I get exhausted just walking up a flight of stairs. The doctor's don't seem to know what's wrong with me. I was told to watch what I eat and to workout every day. I currently work out 30mins of cardio just about every day, except when I'm really ill. I'm looking for any kind of advice on what to do about this and how to get proper care from a doctor. I'm supposed to get a referral from my GP to see an Endocronologist but with having an HMO, who knows how long it'll take before I get an appt. Help!!
