hello, i am 39 and have had as for 20 years. i am currently taking vioxx 25mg twice daily. it has been one of the best antianflamatories i have tried over the years. it took 10 years to diagnose my a.s would suggest rather than steriods he try the vioxx and take tylenol # 3 and either demerol or leratine for extreme pain. hope this helps. regards Lisa in kamloops british columbia, canada
