My 90 year old grandmother has Aplastic anemia. She's in a nursing home right now. Her hemoglobin is now 6.5. There is no more treatment for her. My problem is that I go to bed every night wondering is this the last day I see her alive. I want to be there in her final moments. I am also the only person that goes to see her. I also was force to make all the funeral arrangement by myself my sister and my father do not want to see her - I don't know why. I need to have an idea of what to expect will happen to her now and at what hemoglobin level is this fatal. I found out three weeks ago that there is nothing more the doctors can do. I want to be prepare and I can seem to relax and just allow it to happen. I feel I won't be there in her final hour to confort her. Please give me your advise. Thank you.
