Angie, Never give up! My 16 year old was diagnosed in Feb. 00. Has had 2 doses of ATG and may go for bone marrow transplant if this does not work. Have you discussed bone marrow transplant with her Doctors? The way I understand it this is the only cure, although it has a host of risks involved. My daughter gets transfused with platelets weekly and red blood cells every couple of weeks. It's a hard life but I have decided to look at the bright side of things. Such as she is still alive, she is at home today and not in the hispital, her doctors are cooperative. We seem to have found a medical team that we like. And many other things that are good. Iwas crying everyday and it wasn't doing me or my family any good so I decided to stop. Hang on there are many of us out here. You WILL help your little girl survive!
