Hello, Hope someone out there can offer us hope. My niece was diagnosed with aplastic anemia, 3 mos. ago. It has been a scary rollercoaster ride, since. She's only 7, has had numerous platelet and red and white cell transfusions. Her little body is now starting to reject the donated platelets and white cells. Her doctor feels like a plasma transfusion is the next step. Apparently there are only a few plasma banks in the country. We are so heartsick. If you feel you have some useful information for us, it would truly be appreciated.
