judy, i am also looking for others to talk to. this nasty virus has torn my life apart in the last 2 1/2 months. it's just horrible. i have 5 children, was an aerobics instructor, ran approx 20 miles a week. i'm 33 years old and now feel like i'm 80. i tool vioxx, but didnt feel good on it even though it did take away alot of the joint and muscle pain. the doctors dont seem to know anything about this disease. i was so pleased to see that other people out there can relate to me. i was actually beginning to doubt myself as to how i felt. i tried talking myself into feeling better, but it just doesnt work, i am so fatigued. my musles spasm and are sore, the joint pain seems to migrate throughout my body. from what i here this can be a chronic condition. the doctors need to become more educated on this virus cause they havent been much help to me so far, in fact i've been told by my doctors i need to see a therapist to help me cope because my upset is only making matters worse. i would love to hear from you.
