i recently had an aneurysm myself. even though mine was not in the brain (ascending aorta) it was life threatening. i had to have emergency surgery. to avoid that situation for your husband, all you have to do is keep his blood pressure down. it's that simple. your doctor did not maen to be vague i'm sure, it's just that for brain aneurysm there are limited treatments. if you keep the BP down it will heal itself. there is a surgery for it, but i understand there is only a few surgeons doing it. it is something about a wire that coils up and causes a clot to form in the bubble. good luck and blessings. you will need them. melody
