I had both my hands operated on in1996, I found my fingers curling up and I was worried.I caught a cold and had to have kleenex close to me,so I just held three kleenex in my one hand when I went to sleep at night and my fingers stopped curling up,so I did the same thing with the other hand. Now they have stopped curling up.Now I have the habit of having them in one hand if the hand does start to hurt once and a while. As far as a second operation you will have to check with your doctor. I hope I will never have to have mine done again.
