I have had an operation for carpal tunnel syndrome 10 years ago and it is now back with vengence. A few confusing occurences after op. for what was supposed to be classic carpal tunnel syndrome - hand remained swollen for weeks despite physio and exercises. Little finger and ring finger were bent, now little finger still remains bent. other symptoms went and they declared op. a success... 10 years on, back to square one, hand very painful, numbness, pins and needles, weakness, elbow pain. Does anyone know if they operate a second time (scary) or has anyone tried acupuncture? magnets made my symptons worse, tried homeopathy, osteopathy, and Vitamin B6 all to no avail.
