Hi - saw your message and just wanted to let you know that I really feel for you. You never know with coma patients - he probably knows exactly what is going on around him but cannot express himself. I knew a lady years ago who was in a car accident and was in a coma - only for a few weeks though - and she remembers each and every thing that happened to her in the hospital and care unit afterwards - she even remembered the names of the nurses she liked and who were horrible etc - so I hope this gives you encouragement.
