My mother has PR. She started on 30 mg. of prednisone in March and is down to 10 (July). I would like to collect data on other people's course of treatment as it seems so important to manage reducing prednisone properly. Please reply with your age, duration of PR, and course of prednisone tx. The level you started at, How soon you got down to 6-7 mg or lower, and response to decreasing doses such as immediate increase in pain so went back up or riding out some level of pain and result of that. Thank you!
