My son was very young, 4 years old, when he was also urinating blood. His doctor kept putting him on antibiotics, but it would only clear up for a week or so then come back. I took him to a specialist, and he took one look at him and said the opening to his penis was too small. He explained that it was like a garden hose if you pinched the end. All that water backing up causing the bleeding. Needless to say, my son had day surgery, and never had this problem again. Good luck.
