Well there is someone out there..My son is 18, he has had gross amounts of Hematuria, (blood in urine) for almost 5 years.I have taken himto Childrens Hospital were they have the best doctors. they have done exstinsive tests on Liver, Kidneys, Urine trac, Biopsies. every time I go home with out a answer. In the past 5 months my son is loseing weight,loseing hair,seemes to be more tired then normal,has 200% blood in urine. I am tryin to get him to seattle to see the doctors but they are booked for a while. so I went in and asked our family doctor for a referal to a nother hospital that could get my son in. this is what I was told..That kid has pised blood for 4 years what diff will a month make. then he told his nurse to tell me if I wanted another doctor then I could just find one....well I live in Alaska on a island, it cost alot to get out of here so here we sit watting for our appointment so medicade will cover the trip..it realy sucks when I can not even get my boy to a doctor. well I hope you have more luck then I am.
