2 back operations (one fusion) experience numbness at times in rectum. sometimes bowel incontinence/loss of control. has affected my lifestyle and everyday living. embarrassing never knowing when or where or exactly why. hopefully there may be a doctor who has heard of this or someone can relate to this and guide me. i am 50 yrs old. i had lots of nerve damage found during 2nd operation. 2 surgeons said many nerves were shaved and severed by hundreds of disc particles (like glass)from shattered disc. however this problem took its time in progressing over the years. please respond asap. thankyou...patti
