I take injections of Vit. B-12 twice monthly; also, I take Folic Acid, Carotine. I also apply the pseudocatalase cream & have seen improvement (more skin color) I have taken cortosoid creams for the past 2 years, but they did nothing com- pared to the pseu cream! My vitiligo is on my knees, small spots on front of lets, on hands & fingers & elbows. It's not widespread like others I have seen on the internet. I do get natural sunlight too. I also take amino acids, alfalfa tablet (one per day, plus other vitamins for my well-being. I have changed my diet as well. I eat very little red meat & dairy products. I eat plenty of fruits & vegetables & try not to get stressed, like I used to. I've had vitiligo for about 6 years & thank God it hasn't spread extensively as other people. I know it could be much worse, but I think I have educated myself and have had to do my own treatment since many doctors are very unknowledgeable, unfortunately! I have not seen a derma for this because there is no one in my area that knows anything about it. So, I have to travel over 1 1/2 hours away to see a derma that is supposed to know his "STUFF". We'll see???? I would like to try some of the "new treatments. PUVA, cell transplantation. Have you thought of doing this yourself?
