My 4 year old son has just been diagnosed with asperger's syndrome. I would love to share some do's and don't with regards to discipline, (forcing?) interaction with his peers, etc. with someone to see what works best. So far he doesn't show any signs of behavioral problems...just delays in both motor skills and social interaction with his peers, and severe anxiety in certain situations. He's a real sweetheart and my husband and I want to do all we can to help him along the way. Is there anyone out there who has a young child that has been diagnosed with asperger's syndrome whom would like to share their thoughts and story. There is no one I know who has a child with asperger's syndrome, and I feel very alone in dealing with this. Thanks.
