I was recently diagnosed with having Hepatitis C. I was told that this disease is only transmitted via blood, drug, and/or sexual contact. I am 59 years old. Have been married for 25 years and never cheated on my wife (who is a nurse and who does not have the disease.) I "never" used drugs and was never operated on, thus never received anyone elses blood. I have always spent most of my time around our home going out and/or socializing very little. I feel there is much more to this disease then the american people are really being told.
