Dear Ellie, I know what you are going through. I have had lower back pain, and pain radiating down my leg off and on for 5 months now. Are you going to a pain management dr? I had my first steroid lumbar injection last week, but it didn't help. Now I am going in for another one next week, and am praying for the best. The pain pills I have been taking, Percocet, my body has finally started rebelling against, and I have had serious side effects, so I am trying to get off of them, which isn't easy. Good luck to you
