My daughter is 2 years old. She has never been shaken out of anger, although her father plays a little rough with her. We both love our daughter very much, and would never do anything to hurt her. I have read about this and can see that Shaken Baby Syndrome generally happens to smaller children - infants. I have read, however, that it can happen to children as old as 5. My question is. . .is there any information on toddlers, 2 and up? Her father and I got into an argument about his rough play. I told him it isn't a good idea to play with her like he does. He got mad and said that nothing like Shaken Baby Syndrome would happen to her. Again, I just want something to prove to him that it is possible. Any information would help.
