Just an update, for you Glenn. I wrote to you earlier, my now 25 yr. old with shunt, has just recently gone thru her 8 & 9 surgery. She was given a new shunt, and then had it removed. She now has had a Ventriculostmy. She and I would like to help others going thru this hard time. She is a pediatric nurse now, but only because she was fortunate enough to get some help. I also have a son who is 16, who has had this done. Research is moving in this area. My daugther is often asked to talk with new parents going thru this now. She comes to it with the understanding of what it really feels like, from the patiences' end. If I can help you or others please feel free to e-mail
