My case may be similar to yours. I have had Ankylosing Spondylitis for ten years and now am diagnosed with severe aplastic anemia. Ank.Sp. and Lupus definitely have similarities as autoimmune diseases. In a week, I am going to Portland to begin treatment. I am scheduled for immunosuppresion by ATG and cycolsporin. I am 48 years old. I also have a 6/6 sibling match. Would you say, from your experience with both aplastic anemia and previous autoimmune disease, that this would be a worthwhile course. I am worried that, like you, immunosuppresion is being asked to do an awful lot in bringing to bay both conditions. Please respond soon. Thank-you. Bob
