i had been diagnosed with a goiter when i was seventeen and it finally took a good part of my wind pipe and started causing alot of chest pain i went into er for a heart attack and only to find out it wasn't my heart. i had seen an E.N.T. doctor when they first found my goiter and he had treated me then well he had done another ct of my neck and said it had to come out. i had surgery on 16th my ,2000. and i have since then been able to eat easier and breath better i ask how big it was , he said the size of an 8oz steak. i had carried this thing for 14 years. now its gone and i don't miss it at all i am glad he took it out. i had coverd my neck for 14 years so no one would stare but i don't care who looks now. i am happy that i got it out and a second chance to breath like i am suppose to. god bless to those who still have theirs.tanya
