You're not alone. This is a diabolical condition for which the medical profession has no cure. I have four puncta occluded and still am tortured by irritation and constant reflex tearing! I do find that using the OTC ointments at bedtime offers some relief. It's amazing that we can get a man on the moon - and can't lick dry eye! Shame on the opthalmologic profession.
