Hello. I became deathly ill from the Botox injections i recieved as this is rare it does happen as it comes from Botulism.I had 2 take an emergency antidote. By your question of a disablity i assume u refer to the physical disability. I cannot even drive a car while tired til i find a competant physician to perform surgery on me as my eyelids will clamp shut involuntarily and will not open for several seconds which has caused dangerous situations. as u read about the condition it is said to be progresssive, so therefor debilitating. I however will not accept the inadequate answers i receive from doctors and am searching for someone to help me . I will find them. Botox CAN become ineffective after a period of time and is HIGHLY overrated and the physicians who use it r MOSTLY misinformed about the possible severe side effects. Apart from the severe effect i had that the doctor never warned me of as a possibility, i have sufferd many of the expected side effects which i was told would have passsed by now. Needless to say as i was misinformed of the risks of the injections ( were i not so eager for a cure i would have taken the time 2 research Botox FIRST) i am not paying the bill of the doctor, Even the manufacturers of Botox, (Allergan) agree there r rare cases of death etc caused by the injections while my physicians when i suffered swore the severe weakness and dizziness i suffered for days were not possible to be caused by Botox tho ALLERGAN warned me to seek a hospital immediately.The physicians involoved r considered to be top notch so i can only assume that most others as well r highly misinformed of Botox and all to eager to use it. much luck to you , but if u as i r not happy with results of being injected with a deadly poison ( may cause u probs if u r sensitive as i am tho in sm amts,) then NEVER give up til u find the treatment that helps u before it progresses worse on you. cheers , and NEVER let them tell u there is nothing more they can do for u. Anyway i find it Insane that Deadly poison must be injected into your body every few months for any results and this treatment NEVER ends , less u become immune to it. BOTOX is not an answer, it is like putting a bandaid on a bullet wound in my opinion. As well consider the logic of the health risks of injecting yourself with poison on a regular basis. cannot b healthy. IS Not healthy. BOTOX is a fashionable treatment that is not investigated enough by its supporters.
