I was called in to the doctors today, he believes that I have Hemochromatosis, he ordered blood work 2 weeks ago, as I have been on HPB medication for a year now, and have complained continually that I am exhausted. [He sent me to a heart specialist last fall, my heart is fine.] My blood work came back and he asked me to have more blood work done, it came back the same, so he called me in today to tell me he believes this is the problem.[I had a hysterectomy 22 months ago....since then all this has happened] I am scheduled for a consultation with a surgeon to take a liver biopsy in May. Had an ultrasound this morning, in which my liver was quite enlarged. I am 46 and am quite stressed and concerned about all this info I am trying to absorb.
