Liz l
when I read your letter my breath caught in my throat. Please let me share a short story with you. my mother was 35 yrs old when she experienced itching like you describe. She was examined, tested and discussed by 4 or 5 drs. After many Rx, lotions etc- the drs told her there was no physical reason for her itching. They wanted her to seek the help of a psychiatrist. My aunt(a nurse) said "That's bull" and brought my mother not only to a different dr but a whole other hospital as well. The drs at the 2nd hospital diagnosed my mother in 1 day-Hodgkin's Disease, cancer of the lymph nodes. my goal is not to upset you. When I read your letter my heart about broke for you and your sister and what you are going through. Itching is the same, if not WORSE than pain. Please get another opinion and ask about the possibility of Hodgkin's. I wish you well. My mother was hospitalized immediately and treatment was sucessful. The worse part was it took so long for the correct diagnosis, I hope this not the case for you. God bless and keep me posted. Sincerely, Liz Lombard
