I am 43 years old, got parvo from my preschool grandaughter,Dec.,99, wasn't diagnosed accurately until end of Jan. by an infectious disease spec. he knew immediately what it was, it is now April, still unable to work, been an RN and before was LVN for past 20 years. I have constant pain, burning in muscles and the "brain fog" really causes problems, even trying to manage my household and bills. I am so tired of being "so tired", sleep poorly, go form bed to bed, room to room, try not to awaken my husband. Current meds: Flexeril, Xanax prn and massage therapy. I'm thinking I need to begin to attemp SSD but not sure how to do it. Have worked past 20 years, know I have paid it in, but how do you get it??? email me with any suggestions, I am beginning to feel desperate, financial issues, expensive medications etc. help me if you can.
