I am not aware of any cures for cystic fibrosis. Treatment usually focus on control of symtoms. CF is a chronic, progressive disease. Based on research, the average life expectancy of a patient with CF is 31 years. If you are aware of a person who has CF and experiences difficulty with being able to clear their mucus from their lungs, I would recommend you refer them to a company called ABI.
