Ginger
One of my sons has just been diagnosed with hemochromatosis. The diagnosis was arrived at after both liver biopsy and ferritin levels were done x's 2. I have done some research here online. It says that all blood reletives should have ferritin levels drawn. What I wonder is what reletives is meant. Just parents and siblings, or cousins,aunts, uncles,etc. Also how young a person should be checked for ferritin levels. He has a son 29 months old. Thank-you for any help you can give me
