Donna: I have an 8 year old daughter who has also had UTI's for the past three years and has been on Bactrim, yet, still gets UTI's. She has had all the tests, performed by her urologist--VCUG, IVP, Cystosopy, Ultrasound. Just yesterday, her family physcian prescribed Cefzil to treat the UTI. I am very concerned that all these UTI's are destroying her kidneys. I too, would like to hear from anyone, individual, or specialist, who might be able to offer any advice as to how best to help my daughter.
