My Dad is currently in hospital being treated for squamous cell carcinoma (tonsil & lymph} He's 76 & strong but he is very fatiqued, can't eat, has feeding tube & has very bad coughing attacks. He is in Fox-Chase a renowned Cancer hospital so we know he is getting the best possible care but it seems as though they over look some of the simplest issues of just making him comfortable! Is there some type of losenge he could suck on to help with the impossible dryness, help for sleeping at nite? Any creature comfort to help this 7 week torturous therapy? We feel so helpless.... Any info would be helpful to our family. Thank you sincerely, Lynne
