I also have Retinitis Pigmentosa and I was never told I had it in 1995 and was told in Oct. 1999. I was very discouraged because I never knew. But anyway,I can feel your pain, try to keep a focus on keeping your head straight when someone is driving for you.I let my husband or children guide me at night and I trust them fully to lead me. I really get embarrassed when we go to a a dark restaraunt and a waitress is speakind to me and I don't know it. I also have hearing loss and wear two hearing aids.
