Hello. I have a son who is 16 and is allergic to just about every antibiotic out there. He can take the antibiotic a few times and then develops hives, itching and the doctor stops the medication before the allergic reaction gets worse. The last time he was sick they gave him Prednisone and Tetracycline and he still developed hives after 5 days. I even took him to an infectious disease specialist who really has no idea why this is happening. Just wondering if anyone else out there has this. He says it is quite rare but scares me to death.
