My father has been diagnosed with Stage 5 metastatic malignant melanoma. A tumor was removed from lymph node under his arm that was the size of a hen egg. Currently he is "cancer free". He tried the interferon, but has since given up on it..it made him terribly ill. I would like a clear understandin of what his 'prognosis' is. I have moved to another country and am struggling with whether or not to move back to the states to spend time with my father. Please give me information (of any kind) that would be helpful. Thanks!
