my husband recently had his left hip re-built, bone grafts, etc, and like you is suffering from intense pain in his leg. Says feels like a constant charlie horse in the calf muscle, he also has had no input from surgeon. He has been told it was probably nerve related and would eventually go away. Not much help on the many sleepless nights.
