I have eczema on my hands and some days it gets to my legs and feet. The doctor originally put me on prednizone. The side affects were horrible. I was having a hard time sleeping and my appetite was gone. I decided to quite taking it. I am now using a hydrocortisone called Triamcinalone. I think that is how you spell it. Also when ever I get a bad case of the "itches" I run the itchy part under hot watter and then switch over to cold water very fast and run the ice cold water over the affected area. Also, oatmeal cream and bath, like aveeno works very well. Let me know if any of this works. Heather
