My child got them no less then 7 times over her childhood years. I caught them both from where I worked and from my child. I treated patients for them frequently. once and then again in 7 days doesn't cut it. Nothing kills the eggs if it did a second,third, or fourth tx would not be necessary. I used kwell and discovered they were resistant went to rid for awhile. Then I discovered that Kwell used ( they suggested it caused brain damage) I have never seen a case of it and it works. Use Kwell or Rid for 4 days in a row wash everything every day after your child gets up before going backto bed. There is a 3 day cycle with lice and thier eggs covering for 4 days eliminates any problems untle the next time. Do yourself and any other family members (with no sysmptoms) one time as a precaution and to avoid further contamination.
