you may get this message from many but here goes anyway. the ss almost always turns you down the firt and second times. what is important is not to let your case lapse. keep appealing and applying don't give up. keep copies of all your records and especially anything that you send them. they have a nasty habit of misplacing things. by doing this you will finally go before a judge and probably you will get your ssi also if you don't let your application lapse it will go back and pay from first request. also if you are a vet the veterans admin. may help you. and your state represenative can be very helpful. hope this help a little
