My girlfriend has had sickle cell all her life and has now been without medicine for 1 year now. She does not have the money to pay for morphine and that is the reason she hasn't taken it. The pain is so strong that she passes out periodically and it's happening more often now. she complains of extreme pain in her back and legs most of the time. She also probably has a large amount of blood clots in her body. What can she do to help for the pain? And what can she do to help with the blood clots? If you have any information on extreme cases of sickle cell anemia or any advice with this situation please inform me. thank you.
