Not only the people coming into contact with your child, but also anyone coming in contact with anyone who has been close to the child with Chicken Pox, can catch it. My 11 month old, (one more month and he would've had the vaccine) has it and only came into contact with his brother, who had visited another house where yet another child had Chicken Pox! It is so easily passed on, we have now quarentined or entire house from anyone who might pass it on.
