You didn't state what your sex/age are but if you're female in your mid 30's to mid 40's I would suspect that the hot flashes at night are a symptom of perimenopause. You should see your gynecologist. He can put you on a low dose estrogen pill (birth control) that can help with the hot flashes along with some other symptoms. If you're already on birth control, you may need a new brand with a higher amt of estrogen in them. There are also some natural remedies (herbal therapy) - talk to your pharmacist about these. He should be able to help you find one in the drug store that you can try. Of course, you should always make sure that any over the counter or herbal medications that you take don't interact with any prescibed meds that you take. Ask your pharmacist about this too.
