I had the same procedure, it is very accurate as far as I understand, the doctor should have u going for routine visits every six months. Had mine done 2 yrs ago, have tested neg. to this day. Have the more expensive pap done from now on even if your insurance doesn't cover it, its results are much more accurate. To check for recurring problems, And beleive me it doesn't effect your ability to conceive! Living proof right here!!
