Hi Debbie, I had the plugs put in my eyes about 4 years ago. My eyes are so bad I couldn't get contact lens, and on top of that when they are really acting up I can't wear my glasses because they make the condition worse.I know it sounds weird but when they are real bad and my glasses are on it feels like my eyes are burning up.The only thing that makes them feel half way normal is if I go in a dark room and put an ice pack on my eyes. Do you have one eye that is worst then the other? With me it's my right eye, and it affects my right nostril also. do you have it all the time or is there a time where it is more so then other times? How long has it been a problem with you? Do you mind if I ask how old you are? I have had it since I was 17 and my doctor told me it usually affects older women. And I had all kinds of test done and I am health. They have know idea why I don't tear normal.
