Hi, Robert. My son just had the repair done at 8 month. Just 2 weeks after, he has been doing fine and recovering fast. Now he starts crawling around and things are going well. Babies are not like adult. They forget the pain so soon and start to pick up their life again. My son had colic too when he was 1 - 3 months old. I found colic even harder to deal with than the recovery from surgery. Good luck and best wishes.
