Hey Julie, sounds like we are in the same boat. I am 24 years old and also was diagnosed with Leg/Hip Perthes at around the age of 10. I am also in severe pain with limited mobility. I have seen numerous orthopedics and all have recommended hip replacement, but they suggest I wait till I'm older. I don't know how much longer I can wait!
