I've been going to Drs. for a year now trying to get help, which I found on the Net.I'm trying Amantadine now, while I wait for a 6 week appt. to be diagnosed. Has anyone found relief with RX such as Artane, Valium, Tegretol, Cogentin, Klonapin or another ? It is a very frustrating illness, as it comes from out of the blue, doesn't seem to be helped except by sleep. I spend half of my time with my eyes closed to relieve the muscle strain. It is scary to drive, but I feel pressured by school,and kids. I worry that once I graduate and look for a job, I won't be able to interview and find a job where I won't feel on display for my facial contortions. Does it ever go away as sudden as it appeared? Is it in any way related to environment or diet?
