I was in a car wreck on 2-28. My right leg was fractured near the knee. on the other side of the left knee, it is real numb and has become hot, inflamed, swollen, hard, and numb. the orthopedic doctor said it is cellulitis and prescribed cipro 1500 mg a day but it doesnt seem to be doing much and my foot has also gotten swollen and prickley. is this a dangerous condition? can it be cured. i have had it i guess close to two or two and a half weeks now. my leg apparently hit the dashboard with tremendous force in the accident. what is going on? i dont know anything about this or how to get rid of it.
