We found vitamin e supplements to be most helpful. A good one-a-day, combined with that is wise. If your mom's eating habits have changed, try making low fat milkshakes adding fruit to it. This allows a natural intake of calcium, and vitamins. As the disease progresses, eating and proper nutrition is often a problem. Good nutrition combined with a prescribed drug such as aricept helps to slow the progression of the disease somewhat. I'm convinced that additional daily supplements of Vitamin e are most helpful. It is not easy dealing with this problem. God bless you all.
