I've been a diabetic 47 years and suffer from low blood sugars, I take u100 humulin N 18 unitsand regular insulin if needed for coverage at ten p.m. I no longer am aware of the symptoms of going into insulin shock. I check my blood sugare on the meter before breafast, the last two mornings my blood sugars were 38 and 37 respectfully, and as stated I have no pre-warnings that m blood sugars are so LOW. i AM ON MEDICARE and checking with them about the glucowatch, they informed me they do not pay for this watch. You didn't say whether you were type I or type II diabetic. The glucowatch would really help my situation but $300.00 is a little steep for my pocketbook.
