Diane, don't do the bladder augment! I've heard of women going through all that and having their original pain be just as bad. Behavior modification is what I'm doing right now. Nothing else has worked. The book "Conquering Bladder and Prostate Problems" by Dr. Jerry Blaivas talks about it in Chapter 11. It is uncomfortabe at first but helping temendously. The one good thing, I know, it sounds ironic, is that they don't know what causes it. It could be any number of things. I am not ruling out a body-mind connection. Mine is aggravated by stress and I am using alot of techniques of stress management to help me manage the pain and cope. This Dr. says this works for 85% of his patients. Worth looking int. Kara
